Speaking to GB Taekwondo, Williams was reflective of her performance -
"I have made so much progress and it really did show in the first two fights – I was so proud of how I did.
The better person on the day won, I just have to suck it up, move on and make sure that it doesn’t happen again. I’m getting there slowly but surely.”
Christian Mcneish, Hassan Haider, Rachelle Booth, Damon Sansum, Jordyn Smith and Olympic silver medalist Lutalo Muhammad all finished outside of the medal positions on this occasion.
Well done to everyone at GB Taekwondo.
