The Leys School in Cambridge is offering the opportunity for 12-16 year olds to attend a residential kickboxing camp this summer, with former professional world kickboxing champion Bruno Vicente.
Bruno has over 17 years experience and has been developing kickboxing sessions at the Leys School in Cambridge for the past 4.
Another world medal holder, Portuguese national kickboxing team coach Miguel Marques will be travelling all the way from Portugal to help deliver the course.
In addition to kickboxing, the one week course will provide information covering nutrition, strength & conditioning, rehabilitation and recovery. The content is designed to suit those that aspire to achieve excellence in the sport.
Leys School instructor, Bruno Vicente is confident of offering youngsters a real chance to improve their skills. He said:
"This course is being offered to give young people the opportunity to develop their knowledge of kickboxing in a safe and professional environment."
"I am proud and excited to be able to offer a course which will enable Miguel and myself to pass on our knowledge to potential champions of the future."
The camp will run from Monday August 5th to Friday August 9th (2019) and includes both a morning and afternoon session. Course numbers will be restricted to a maximum of 40 residential students.
