Led by Alex Barrowman Jr, BCKA's Team England claimed victory in the 2018 European Invitation Challenge cup on June 9th in Northamptonshire, England.
Over 500 fighters took part in the Kickboxing event in Corby, with teams from across Europe joining many clubs from around England to compete.
Team Ireland progressed to the final but were dispatched by a 3-1 verdict, courtesy of victories for Daniel Balch, Eddy Paddock and Alex Barrowman Jr, with Leon Gold suffering the only defeat.
The result ensures that BCKA Kickboxing's England team have now retained the cup for three consecutive years, having previously beaten teams representing Germany and Scotland.
Barrowman Jr went on to win his own individual section, thus adding another European title to his impressive 2018 so far.
The event is staged by the British Chinese Kickboxing Association, who compete globally in semi contact points fighting and light contact 'continuous' fighting. For more information, you can view their website at www.bckakickboxing.com
