Chris Aston brings home double GB gold at Pointfighting Cup

Chris Aston brought home an impressive four medal haul from the Pointfighting Cup in Italy, including a double gold in the -94kg and +94kg sections.

Heavyweight Chris, coached by Krisztián Jároszkievicz and Sean Veira, defeated Italians on home ground in the final of both categories. Taking on Paolo Niceford and Gabriele Oliva respectively in gold medal match ups.

There were further medals for the GB fighter. Taking a silver in the open weight competition after losing out to All Stars' fighter Ross Cooke, and a Bronze in the overall Grand Champion event.

The Point Fighting Cup is known as one of the best international competitions in the world. Based in Castellanza (Milan), it is the first event in Italy devoted only to points fighting.

Furthermore, there is live streaming of all finals, all the finals also take place on the raised platform, whilst finals of the Grand Champion, Open and Tag Team are played bare-chested. Winners are also rewarded with a very high prize-money and goods.
