British Taekwondo have a new CEO
British Taekwondo, the NGB for Taekwondo in the UK have announced a new CEO. After a lengthy recruitment process, Shirley Stapleton has taken on the role with immediate effect.
6 candidates were shortlisted and interviewed for the position, replacing the temporary COO role held by Ms Stapleton since the organisation's previous AGM.
In her new role as CEO, she will oversee all aspects of governance for Taekwondo in the United Kingdom. As she is qualified, she will also take on the role of Chief Financial Office for British Taekwondo.
On being awarded the new position, Shirley to britishtaekwondo.co.uk “I am delighted to be selected for the role of CEO of British Taekwondo and am looking forward to further working with the BT Family supporting its continuing transformation and development journey.”
