Aston leads the GB Medals at the Athens Challenge

2020 has been a good year so far for Chris Aston, with his good form continuing at the Athens Challenge.

 

Having taken the Grand Championship at the Golden Glove tournament last month, and a further two medals at the WON, Chris added a further two titles to his tally in Greece.

 

In the Point Fighting heavyweight divisions, Chris defeated the USA's Troy Binns (-94KG) and German Erdogan Celik (+94KG) to secure his two gold medals.

 

Natasha Baldwin also secured a gold medal, she took victory over Pelagia Sachindou from Greece in the -65KG Light Contact.

 

Sam Sparks followed up his Watford title with a Bronze in the -63KG. Alexander Yeats claimed two Bronze (-79KG, -84KG) and Cameron Stirling also took Bronze (-74KG)

 

Scot Dave Parkinson got a Light Contact silver medal, losing out to Gabrielle Oliva in the final match.

 

The final medal was added by Stephanie Killick who managed Bronze (-50KG).
